Healthy Weight Loss Newsletters
Not making sure that your loss of weight is healthy is a pretty common mistake, but an online newsletter can help keep you on track. Not having a a healthy diet can lead to numerous problems, from light nausea and dizzy spells all the way to kidney failure and death. So be sure to keep on track of your weight loss and know what to look out for.
Shape Up
For people looking to get into shape, and have a healthy figure, one of the best informational newsletters is Shape Up America. Their site offers a wide variety of useful articles and listings, specifically for obese children. One of the worst problems in America today is that children are allowed to become morbidly obsese when simple changes in a family's routine could solve the problem.
The Shape Up site is also a proud sponser of the 10,000 steps program. In which, you slowly raise the amount of steps you walk each day, with the goal of eventually walking approximately 5 miles a day. This sounds rough at first, but it isn't too bad. Say you walk a total of 1 mile per day. All you do is increase it by a quarter mile per day, or 500 steps, for two weeks. After which, your body should be used to walking further and you increase this total by another 500 steps for two weeks. This method would take 16 weeks to build up to the 5 miles a day walk, but it is so gradual that you will hardly notice a difference.
Help
Before any diet begins a person should have a consultation with their doctor or dietician. If there is any discomfort or pain during the process a doctor should contacted immediately. Nausea, dizziness, shortness of breathe, and more are all signs that something is wrong with your diet.
